Today is Father's Day and
My Dad...can't go a day without some kind of humor in it (of course he gets that from his dad). As he was talking on the phone with me he went upstairs to give the phone to mom and told me mom was just chilling on the bed like it was Mother's Day because, he told me, Father's Day is the best Mother's Day!
My Dad taught me a lot throughout my life, almost every important thing I know came from his mouth or his deeds. Keeping a sense of humor was always one of my favorite features in
My Dad. My Dad taught me that family is more important than friends, he taught me what families are made of and that they are there for each other no matter what, and he taught me that I am never alone. I have heard my dad talk about the Savior quite a bit but I have seen the Savior through him even more, when he reads to a sweet old lady at the nursing home, or takes my mom in an loving embrace to comfort her, or treats people that look different or talk different just like anyone else or kinder.
My Dad is my hero.
My Dad taught me how to do a front flip on the trampoline!
My Dad is a great dad, not only to me but to my closest friends Ashley, Karolin, Jessica, Sam, Sarah, and my budders Jarom! He told me what they said they learned from him. I would've guessed everyone would say about the same thing but it's just one more thing I am learning from
My Dad, he cares about his family enough to know what they each need. Jarom learned what mom does and doesn't like, Sarah learned service, Sam learned how to treat girls and women, Jessica learned the difference between wants and needs, and Karolin learned that if you want something bad enough and you work hard then you can get it. Ashley never got to Dad about what she learned from him but I think it's probably along the lines of...you don't always get what you want! Ashley taught me a lot about dad too just the way she spoke of him and teared up when she thought about how much he loved her.
My Dad has been amazing to all of us but it's not until recently that a special thought came to mind about him. I always thought...he is Dad, he has seven kids and everyone of them is special and different and he cares about each of them just in different ways and all that junk... But I have suddenly realized that no matter how many kids
My Dad has... he is...
My Dad. He has loved me since the day he first held me in his arms, he has taken care of me and my needs, he has taught me to stand up for what I believe in, he has helped me in my trials, he has pushed me in my goals, and he has always been
My Dad!!! I love
My Dad and I will forever be his girl!!! Happy Father's Day
Dad!!!
Love, Your
Little Munchkin
