This weekend Everett and I had the fun opportunity to go to Lava Hot Springs for an O'Driscoll family reunion. We got there and I immediately started playing games with Cheryl whom I know call ShareShare and Mya. It was nice and relaxed the first night because all we really did was sit around the campfire and play games. We played a game called, "Things" and it was really really fun, I don't think I have ever seen everyone laugh as hard as they did, dad laughed so hard his asthma kicked in and he couldn't even breath. The next day was full of fun adventures. We got up and had a gourmet breakfast that mom and dad made, me n ShareShare did dishes, and then we all put our sunscreen on and went off to the water park to have us some real fun! The water was so warm I couldn't believe it. Cheryl and I took Braedon down the slides and he had so much fun we went a few more times. We were there for a few hours and then went back to camp to eat and rest awhile. Then we all made shirts! I made Mya's with a cute unicorn on the front. After shirts we got to go to the Lava Hot Springs!!! It was awesome. It was so relaxing and enjoyable...just the right temperature for me even if I didn't get in too far ;) After we all got showered and dressed we went back to camp for dinner and just more fun. We played the game again until it was late and dark out (some of the things O'Driscoll's say, even me I noticed...) Finally sleep hit us hard because of how much fun we had that day. This morning we woke up and got to work cleaning up because unfortunately it was already time to go. The last thing I did was take my nieces and nephews for a little walk and took pictues of them by a metal bull statue! They loved it, I think they had so much fun and didn't want to say goodbye either, Lava is a fun place and I can't wait to see how it will turn out next year! Well now it's back to school for Everett but he only has three weeks left so we are both feeling the excitement of that! I cannot wait to go back home to family for awhile! I just pray Everett and I find decent jobs that will help us with the baby, school, and so on and so forth. Anyways all I can say is life is great and my family rocks!!!

All I read was, "I was 45 mins away from my Uncle and I didn't drop by."
ReplyDeleteJust kidding! That's a great place to visit (as long as you ignore the local folk that want to pronounce it "lAAAva")! Sounds like you guys had a blast.
