A Whole New World!

As of November 11th 2011 my world was changed forever!
It all began one morning when I found out that nine months later I could expect our first baby!!! The moment I found out was a moment of smiles, singing, and laughter. I had never been happier in my entire life (except when I married Everett of course).
Before we new it I was bigger than could be expected... and I wasn't having twins ;) The day seemed to be forever away. I wanted to meet my son and hold him in my arms more than anything. The anticipation was great and I kept thinking 'Could this be the day?' but it wasn't until the morning of the 11th that we found ourselves in the hospital room in Evanston WY ready to see baby Connor!
Finally good and ready for our baby to hatch we spent a long day together wondering when he would finally show his sweet cheeks. And as hard as my labor was, I had amazing support all along the way. Both my mother and my mother in-law were there every step of the way taking care of my emotional and massaging needs. Everett was there every second giving me his shoulder to cry on which I needed very much... He was the best coach I could ask for. And for the record I am so glad they allow husbands in the room now because there is no way I could've done it without him!

Then suddenly with overwhelming joy there he was!!! This picture pulls at my heart strings more than anything. My son... in my arms... looking up at his mommy...  After he took his first breath the doctor gave him to Everett to give to me. Shedding tears of joy both Everett and I just stared at him in amazement. All I said was, "Everett look at our beautiful baby boy, he is so beautiful." They took him away so fast I almost cried just from that 'He is MY baby' I thought. But after they cleaned him he was right back in my arms again.
My body needed sleep more than anything but my heart was drawn to my baby. I stayed up almost all night just looking at him and talking to him and simply falling in love with him!
Everybody says Connor looks just like his daddy. I say so too and I am not one to think someone looks like someone else usually. I mostly just look at the individual features of people and don't think much else. But one night I was up with Connor and I couldn't help but think, "You look exactly like your daddy!" And I am not sad about that at all. Everett is amazing. I hope all of our boys to turn out much like their daddy. He is a great husband, priesthood holder, and father! I could never hope for let alone find anyone better!!!
We have loved getting to know this precious bundle of joy. He is the happiest baby I ever met. He sleeps a lot, smiles a lot, and only cries when he really needs to tell us something (I'm hungry, I just soaked my bum, OUCH that hurt). AND he sleeps through the night very very good! WOW what a great baby. His smile melts my heart and his cries tear it up. I never knew I could love quite so much!
I love watching him bring joy into others lives too. His family loves him and he is very very blessed!
I just love to watch him learn and grow!
He is the most alert baby ever...when he is not in dream-land :)
Mommy and baby time is the best!
 Daddy loves his little boy!
Connor loves sleeping on his stomach but for safety we can only let him do this for naps...

He makes funny faces and positions in his sleep...and he always smiles as he is falling asleep.

   Connor and uncle Sam!
Connor and auntie Ashley! I love how his legs are around her belly! Cousin Dominic will be here soon!
                                                                              Connor and aunt Sarah!
 Connor and aunt Jess!

      Everyone smile for family pictures!!!
Connor and Dana after his baby blessing!
   Connor and Grandma Golding!
       Connor and auntie Karolin!!
     Baby and uncle Jarom!
Staring to get extra smiley to go along with all that energy and love inside!
This is probably my very very very favorite pic of all times!
      I JUST ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't get enough of our sweet little angel. Back in Rexburg again and love being in apartment life and learning how amazing it is to simply be a mommy! Everett is going to school and enjoying that, looking forward to the future with high hopes. Connor is getting very close to giggling and life is just AMAZING. Well more adventures later... We love you all :D
